Sunday Brunch 13 – Emiliano Hotel – Rio de Janeiro

Copacabana beach…

10 am

Overlooking the sugar loaf, the Emiliano hotel is an architectural piece that you cannot miss…

A prestigious hotel from São Paulo… It opened a few years ago in the wonderful city… As we agree that despite it all Rio is just the city to be…

The restaurant is a room situated in the backside of the hotel. Honestly I had expected that the hotel would use and abuse of the view… Clichè, I know, but Copacabana beach’s view is irreplaceable…

Well… I was wrong… And the room was amazing… Exploring the Brazilian nature, reflected on the use of native plants and wood… it looked like an Oasis in the Rio’s chaotic beauty…

The choices of the menu also explored the best of the Brazilian ingredients, reflected on the presence of Tapioca, açaí, granola, papaya and pão de queijo… Fresh juices and minas cheese completed the best of local…

I was also very surprised with the size of portions… I could not eat it all… As and when the dishes were arriving I realised how much there was around… So, don’t even drink coffee before you hit the brunch… in the end, you don’t want to waste any of it…

The brunch is great value for money… Especially for a 5 stars hotel…

Enjoy and don’t miss trying the açaí with granola… It is my favorite…
