Sunday pizza

Hello everybody! It is Sunday night and I am craving for pizza. is it true that Sunday evenings are the international day for Pizza? What do you think?

What sort of pizza person are you? The thick pan pizza such as Pizza Hut or Domino’s pizza? Or the thin and crusty Italian Pizza? Talking about Domino’s pizza, I recently read an article that said that Domino’s was about to set up their foot in Italy. Honestly I cannot even think how they expect to succeed, being the Italians so proud and “picky” about their pizza.

I remeber discussing with Italian friends and  they telling me that pizza was “pomodoro e formaggio” meaning tomato sauce and cheese… When I told them that in Brazil people eat banana pizza, chocolate pizza… They said “Mamma mia”… with an incredulous face…

My cousin and I once went to Naples. Few years ago… We went to have a true pizza napoletana… And we discovered the more sophisticated pizza we could find was with some ham… No tuna… No eggs, no nothing… And I must say the pizzas we tried were delicious… Really delicious…
