Mar 30, 2020 by Valentina Voos No Comments
You all must be “sick and tired” of reading the word Coronavirus…. I am… Some of us are even suffering of anxiety when reading the news… and here I am including myself… However, I could not pass this period without registering an article which probably will be the most difficult period of humanity during my lifetime. The purpose of this blog is and has always been to register my interests… to bring to you what I find interesting…. to share my discoveries and experiences…. This has not changed and this is the only article I will write about this period.… Read more

STOP the destruction of luxurious items – I support the ban.

Mar 2, 2020 by Valentina Voos No Comments
I don’t normally write about politics… I think there are some subjects which are so personal that once discussed, it can create more issues than resolve them… Politics is one of them… People often get so passionate that stop listening and try to prove the other wrong… BUT… this subject is worth writing about… especially because it has a lot to do with this blog. I SUPPORT the ban on the destruction of luxurious goods… Can you believe that houses such as Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Hermes, Dior and others justify destroying millions of Euros of goods as an effort o… Read more

My 7 days in a Abaya…

Nov 26, 2019 by Valentina Voos No Comments
For those who follow me on Instagram, you have learned that I recently went to Saudi Arabia… I visited Jeddah and Riyadh for 7 days and I had prepared myself to visit a country which culture could not be more different than mine. Actually, I dont really know what I expected but I now know that what I found was not anywhere close with my pre-conception. I consider myself a quite open minded person. I respect all cultures, religions and orientations. I make choices every day and one of them is to be tolerant with other peoples choices. My rights… Read more

Some evenings leave a lasting impression not becau Some evenings leave a lasting impression not because of their spectacle, but because of the rare authenticity they embody. Our private dinner at the @jaegerlecoultre boutique was one of those moments — an intimate encounter between exceptional gastronomy, meaningful conversation, and the timeless artistry of haute horlogerie. Around the table, guests were invited to experience the refined creativity of two-star Michelin chef @gillesvarone , while also discovering the extraordinary heritage and savoir-faire of Jaeger-LeCoultre, rightly known as the watchmaker of watchmakers. The evening was further elevated by the presence of @nadia_stylestrategy , who offered guests a fascinating exploration of colorimetry, revealing the tones and nuances that best enhance each individual’s natural elegance. In a world increasingly driven by immediacy, there is something profoundly inspiring about bringing together craftsmanship, beauty, and human expertise in such a thoughtful and intimate way. I left the evening deeply grateful and immensely proud to be part of the Jaeger-LeCoultre family and to share in a vision of luxury rooted not in excess, but in excellence, culture, and enduring savoir-faire.
Thanks to all that came and joined me that evening!

Life can be extraordinarily unexpected. I was not Life can be extraordinarily unexpected.

I was not raised around fame or cinema. My world was a different one entirely.
Which is perhaps why this moment at the opening ceremony of the 79th Cannes Film Festival felt so emotional: not impossible, simply improbable.

Thank you to those who opened doors, believed in me, and walked part of this path with me!
