For Carnivores only – Cape Town

Mar 24, 2018 by Valentina Voos No Comments
Eating is so much fun… for me it also reflects the one’s individual personality! My personality is not to have a local restaurant to call mine, but actually to move around and discover what is new! I never get recognised by staff because very rarely I go back to the same place… there is always somewhere new to go to… such an unfaithful customer I am… ? Well, this does not mean I don’t love the places I go, the trouble is there is always a new place to discover. As you know I go often to Cape Town… what… Read more

Pilanesberg – Kwa Maritane lodge

Mar 14, 2018 by Valentina Voos No Comments
A 100%  improvised trip to the bush… A super positive discovery… The Pilanesberg National Park is situated around 2 hours from Johannesburg. It is very close to Sun City. The Park was created in the 60’s after years of abandonnement. The park is about 55 hectares and it has several lodges around it as tourists of all over the world visit it in the hope to spot the big 5. The big 5 are the 5 biggest African animals: Elephants, lions, leopards, Rhinos and Buffalos…. Most of the people that think of a Safari think of the Kruger Park… understandably…… Read more

Adventure at the Cotswolds – England

Feb 20, 2018 by Valentina Voos No Comments
The Cotswolds is one of my favorites regions in the UK… it is very rural, full of churches, medieval houses built with yellow limestone and loads of green open fields. There are several villages to visit but if you have time for only one, you should head to Bourton on Water. This charming village is often called the “Venice of the Cotswolds,” due to the fact that the River Windrush flows right through the centre of town. … This was my second trip to the Cotswolds and this time I stayed in an area called Upper slaughter… In the magnificent… Read more

Some evenings leave a lasting impression not becau Some evenings leave a lasting impression not because of their spectacle, but because of the rare authenticity they embody. Our private dinner at the @jaegerlecoultre boutique was one of those moments — an intimate encounter between exceptional gastronomy, meaningful conversation, and the timeless artistry of haute horlogerie. Around the table, guests were invited to experience the refined creativity of two-star Michelin chef @gillesvarone , while also discovering the extraordinary heritage and savoir-faire of Jaeger-LeCoultre, rightly known as the watchmaker of watchmakers. The evening was further elevated by the presence of @nadia_stylestrategy , who offered guests a fascinating exploration of colorimetry, revealing the tones and nuances that best enhance each individual’s natural elegance. In a world increasingly driven by immediacy, there is something profoundly inspiring about bringing together craftsmanship, beauty, and human expertise in such a thoughtful and intimate way. I left the evening deeply grateful and immensely proud to be part of the Jaeger-LeCoultre family and to share in a vision of luxury rooted not in excess, but in excellence, culture, and enduring savoir-faire.
Thanks to all that came and joined me that evening!

Life can be extraordinarily unexpected. I was not Life can be extraordinarily unexpected.

I was not raised around fame or cinema. My world was a different one entirely.
Which is perhaps why this moment at the opening ceremony of the 79th Cannes Film Festival felt so emotional: not impossible, simply improbable.

Thank you to those who opened doors, believed in me, and walked part of this path with me!
