Valentine’s day wish list

Many say it should not be a commercial day… that presents should not be the main focus… all blah blah blah!

Gifts are a great part of it… not because of the gift itself but because of the symbolism that it represents: the attention in the loved person… the care to know what pleases the other… the desire to make the other happy….

The misconception in my opinion is in relation to the size of the gift… many think that the size of the gift has a correlation with the size of love… here I must disagree…

Of course, everybody likes to get “nice” presents… expensive clothes, jewelry, wine, bags, shoes… the list is long… I love it too… but what I really want is my partner to know me well enough to give me first what I deserve… and then, what will really please me… for that he needs to know me…

I am a lucky girl… my husband knows me very well… he loves pleasing me and he knows a bar of chocolate makes this girl here super happy… it just needs to know the right type of chocolate… and he knows it!!!

Even if I am a lucky girl, I can always give him further tips as I evolve, things change and fashion is always bringing something new to make us dream and desire… so, my humble wish list… not that I ever think I will have it all, but I still don’t pay to dream…

• Longchamp -Kiss and Love collection – Look at those beauties… they are so much fun… The pink and fuchsia are super bling bling… made just for me.. 🙂

• La durée – I have written several posts about La durée – I am a big fan of the macarrons… Now, the brand has produced a special edition for Valentine’s day! My favourite  is the bag charm in form of mini macarrons… I am like a kid.. I want it, I want it…

If budget is not a problem… several choices….

• Tiffany’s and Cartier bracelets!  – I have been keeping an eye on them  for a while… These two are the ultimate bracelet combination – T for Tiffany and Love for Cartier.
