Time for myself is one of the most difficult things to have in my life… I run all the time… but when I manage to get that one hour free… I have to make the most of it…
Recently I had a whole weekend for me and my husband, when we checked in, into this amazing hotel… I told you the story of the hotel but I did not show you the spa…
I am really considering become a spa junkie… soon to become an year older… I think this will be my birthday resolution…
Cutting to the chase… Let me tell you about the Mont Blanc spa… it has this name because it faces the magnificent Mont Blanc mountain….
On the top of the hotel des Bergues in Geneva… the spa is stunning…
Also, the products are all Espa… English super luxurious brand… simply the best… I learned to love it so much… Espa and Shiseido are my top top ones…
My husband and I did the massage rituals for couples…
Once we got there we were taken to a double cabin where we had the pleasure to have our feet scrubbed and massaged… the warmth of the water, the scent of the oils and the music transported us to a different planet…
Then we were requested to move to the beds…
I always chose the most vigorous massages I can have as I feel I need the roughness of the hands to take my body out of its comfort zone… This time was no different…
Kind of killing me softly…. am I a masochist?
50 minutes and the knots on my shoulders were conquered and destroyed by the incredible hands of the masseur…
Can we go back in time???? Time flies when you are having fun…. as she finishes I don’t want to move… I looked to the left and there lay my husband… he didn’t even have words to express his relaxing status… as opposed to me… he chose a much softer approach… he even fell asleep… I promised he did not snore… I would tell you if he did!
We took our time but it was time to move… we were then taken to a relaxation room, for tea and snacks…
We looked at each other, unspoken words of happiness and joy… yes, it is possible that I keep quiet sometimes… we sipped our teas immersed in the knowledge that the weekend was just starting…
How romantic is that???
