Business Lunch 2 – Restaurant Al Hamra – London

One of the finest Lebanese restaurants I have ever been… Situated at Mayfair in the corner of Shepherd Market, the restaurant is small and cozy…

I love Lebanese food… It is one of these cuisines that I call comfort cuisine… Because very rarely it can go wrong… it feels like home… Everything is tasty and within the menu there is always something to please all… from various vegetarian dishes to sophisticated carnivore recipes.

My lunch at Al Hamra was unexpected… As I was invited by someone who is a regular at the restaurant… I did not even look at the menu… I sat in the back seat and enjoyed the experience…

No regrets… Not even for having eaten way tooooo much!

My host ordered for at least 10 people when we it was only the 2 of us… He wanted me to try everything… And I did… The Hummus was spectacular… The Kiebbeh was crunchy and very well spiced… The rice with lamb and nuts to die for…

Even the Fattoush… which is not one of my favorites dishes… was splendid…

The restaurant is a great lunch option if you around the Mayfair area… all dishes are very well served… service is impeccable and the food delicious…

So delicious that it is hard to get back to business after the feast…

Great meal, great place… Good value for money… It seems a no brainer…
