Last week I had the amazing opportunity to dine at Vacheron Constantin and learn about this amazing watch making manufacturer…
If I could summarize my experience, it would be in one word… Honour!
A huge Honour and a big thank you to Sparkle for having invited me… it is hugely appreciated. It was a privilege to be able to spend time with other amazing influencers and learn about them, alongside with the brand. I met these amazing bloggers who each bring a lot of expertise and talent to the bloggers community!
Going back to the brand… I was amazed to learn that Vacheron Constantin was founded in 1755.
Guys!!! Do you know what that means??? 262 years of existance!!! According to Wikipedia, there are about 3000 brands worldwide which are more than 200 years old… the majority is in Japan, a country well know to respect tradition and heritage… so, the age of Vacheron Constatin is per se an accomplishment in the era of Instantaneous fame!
The invitation was to discover the overseas collection… A trip to the mysterious middle East culture…
Each influencer was lent a watch to wear during the evening… I must confess, it is was hard to give it back… mine was a sublime overseas piece!
We were introduced to the spirit of the collection and then taken to a trip to a nearby art gallery to visit the exposition which comprised a piece of Pollock… well, well, well, another privilege… Pollock was a master American artist whose pieces are sold for over hundreds of millions of dollars…

Back to Vacheron Constantin… we were indulged with an amazing 4 courses dinner over inteligent conversation… Some baby tips were also exchanged as two of my fellow bloggers will soon discover the world of motherhood… congrats and good luck!
The food was delicious and it was hard to think that sometime soon we would need to go back home…
I am fascinated by the world of watch making, the precision, the creativity and the resilience are words which somwhat describe the dreams of the amazing brand turning into reality.
