Sunday Brunch 7 – Perfect for families at the Hotel Parc des Eaux Vives

I loved it, my kids loved it… Happy kids, happy parents!!!

What a relaxing meal I had…

There are so many positives about this brunch that I need to organise my mind not to forget to mention anything…

• The Location – Situated in a Hotel inside the Parc des Eaux Vives in Geneva, you are not really in town… you don’t see cars, you don’t hear noise, you don’t feel the buzz… It is relaxing, it is colorful, especially now with the autumn colours and it is stunning. The Brunch is served as a buffet in a spectacular veranda overlooking the Lake… The scenery is a postcard…

• The Food – Delicious as it can be expected, the brunch is geared towards to the Italian cuisine. Various types of antipastos and cheeses can be tasted. Also, various types of bread, including the amazing tasteful focaccia italiana. For those who appreciate fish, this is the perfect brunch to attend… Several types of smoked fish are available, such as Haddock and smoked salmon.

• The kids entertainment -THE BEST KIDS FRIENDLY BRUNCH SO FAR!!!! My ultimate delight. It is quite common to have kids entertainment throughout the various brunches I have so far attended, but this one was quite special. First, for the location of the kids room… it is literally very close to the brunch area… It is a room just annexed to the brunch… This is quite important to me… in other places I had always to be doing the journey back and fourth from the kids area to the table as it was just too far to allow them to do it alone. Here is the opposite…my kids could come and go as they wished, without really disturbing me or anyone else. Also, the hotel hires an specialized entertainment company. There are all sorts of toys and the whole room is transformed to give the kids a great time playing while the parents eat and enjoy themselves…. if you are a parent, you will understand the importance of this…

• The deserts… Again catered for kids, there was all sorts of deserts already ready, but the selection of fresh fruits was unbeatable… Also, there was a desert designer ready to help the kids to decorate their own tarte or cupcake… My kids loved it….

Another good point is that the hotel is quite small and as it is inside a park, you feel it is a attended by locals with their families… and not so much tourists… not that there is anything wrong about it… it is just that the vibe is very relaxed…

As you already know, I love my Sunday brunches…. this one got so far the top place in my heart!
