Some places and some chefs are just above any comments… And what about when you have both combined?

The Sunday Brunch at the Hotel Plaza Athénée in Paris, mastered by the super stared chef Alain Ducasse is to die for…

First… It is affordable… Not cheap…

Second, it is delicious…

Last, it is unforgettable…

The place is just amazing… I have already written a few lines about this brunch, but further to requests, I decided to dedicate a full post to it…

The hotel is a Parisian Institution, one of the few to have the Palace nomination, which is the highest recognition in hotel world. Open in 1913, the hotel became very famous when Christian Dior decided to open its atelier just a few steps from it… Not to be too far and to be able to use the hotel premises when releasing the Dior collections.

Throughout the years, the hotel has changed owners and passed through various renovations. The last one costed 200 Million Dollars and brought back to the hotel all its splendor. As part of the project, Alain Ducasse joined, earned it’s Michelin Stars and created the most desired brunch of the city of lights.

You can expect the best! You get the very best!

The room is filled with Crystal chandeliers, finest porcelain and exquisite silver cutlery.

The food is of highest quality. To say that could sound obvious as the French are the best pattiseurs in the world… So you can imagine what this is about when the chef is Alain Ducasse….

Croissants, pain au chocolate, mini baguettes… The finest butter… Oh lá lá… Only the French can make butter like that… And what about the chocolate cream to spread on the bread…. Never eaten something like that before…

It is not all!

A full range of main courses are to be chosen! Almost an impossible task!

Of course, you can have eggs… With truffles?

The Beef Wellington??? Hummmmm!!! My mouth is watering to revisit the experience…

Champagne is on the menu too and it cannot miss the gastronomic journey!

Pastries??? The French classics are all there… It was strawberry season??? I was in heaven!

When you go to some places you need to prepare yourself that your life will never be as before after you have been and experienced it… This is one of them…

I am glad I don’t live in Paris otherwise I would be there every weekend, and obviously become bankrupt!
