I do not like Victoria Secret Fashion Show
Please forgive me if I offend Victoria Secret’s lovers, but the show looks all the same…. the Angels come into the catwalk, perfect unrealistic bodies and everybody worships it….glitter, sparkles, wings…
The first show they did was a WOW!!! Nobody had done anything like that before… The second one as well… the third looked like the first and the second ones… and it moved on and on… now it is annoyingly repetitive…
I know that people like it and I do not blame them… the Angels are stunning! The show is beautiful but the looking roughly the same…
So much it is repetitive that in 2016 they decided to do it in Paris… First time in Paris… the fashion capital of the world… I must recognize, it gives a sparkle of innovation to it… but if they do not change the format, it will quickly feel boring again…
Now, I can hear people scream: How dare she say that???? I dare because I have seen some of them… We need some innovation… I know it may be difficult when you wish to innovate with so little pieces of cloth…
The only thing that sustains the show is the Angels group… the creme de la creme of the world models… this formula has been working but in my humble opinion it is time to cater for real women too… The reality of plus size is more than a trend and it speaks to people as they identify to it and not worship it…
Empires fall because of the disconnection to the real people and the inability to understand the changes… Even Barbie has more of a real body now… maybe the Angels should have it too….
