Ibiza – first impressions
Yesterday I left you with the appetiser and today I will give you the first course… Ibiza is gorgeous… I have been to many places in the world but I must confess that so far the Island has enchanted me…
As I am on family trip, my posts will bring you a lot of day things to do rather than night events…
We are staying at the very north of the Island in an area which is considered the kids area… I can understand… It is far from the buzz of the clubs and there are kids everywhere… The beach is crystal clear and the water magnificent… The good thing about this part is that my children are non stop slidding the Toboggans…
Yesterday we decided to change the scenery and drove to Cala Bassa… We went to Cala Bassa Beach Club… It was amazing… We rented a bed, and stayed the whole day sipping our drinks and playing with the kids… Lunch was superb, full of fresh fish and sushi… The day passed that we did not even realised.
Today a very good friend of mine who comes to Ibiza every year for the last 20 years recommended that we visited Santa Gertrudis. It is a village in the middle of the Island… It is splendid, full of boutiques and cafes… A must visit! The architecture is Spanish white and time has a different pace. I suggest you have a fresh juice at Musset, and visit two amazing shops: Angels and Es cucons… The beach stuff is amazing! Super hippie chique!
For vegetarians and non vegetarians that can eat a meal without meat, I strongly recommend the restaurant Ecocentro… We had great tapas there!!!
Tomorrow I will come back with more on Ibiza and Formentera…
See you tomorrow for main course! 🙂
