A shopping afternoon in Lisbon
I love Lisbon… The Portuguese Capital is one of the greatest hidden gems of Europe… The cost value of Lisbon is not comparable to any other European Capital… It is chique, it is sunny, it is laid back and for some, it is cheap…
There is sooooo much to do and see…From Alfama to Belem… Chiado to the Expo area… The city of 3 million inhabitants is vibrant, cosmopolitan and somewhat traditional…
Shopping is great here… There are various shopping centers to visit… The Biggest one is the Colombo… It huge and covers most of the international and the Portuguese brands…
The Vasco da Gama shopping is also very nice, with a modern touch as it is built more recently.
For traditional and expensive brands, the Avenida da Liberdade is the perfect location… All international luxurious brands can be found there… And a must visit is the Stivali shop, which reunites various brands at one single roof… The same spirit is the El corte Ingles… The Spanish multi brand and multi floors shop…
As no one lives of shopping only… I suggest you enjoying a bit of the Portugues cuisine… The sea food is splendid and the Bacalhau (cod fish) is a traditional dish… You eat well anywhere you go…
For a more gastronomical to experience, you should try the 2 star michelin restaurant -Eleven – delicioussssss
And last but not least, finish your indulgence at Belem, eating the traditional Pastels de Belem… Traditional Portuguese pastry made of custard… Many have tried to copy… But the original can not be reproduced… So enjoy!
If you have been to Lisbon and have another impression, let me know… In the meantime, I indulge, shop and enjoy!
